    The food was fabulous. The service was fast and delicious. Extremely clean establishment and lunch hours during the week the restaurant is very peaceful and not that crowded. You can get a lot of work done or reading.

    The sushi is fresh and delicious. You can’t beat the happy hour special, $5 a roll on the happy hour menu. The service is just above terrible, the staff is very nice but not very attentive.

    *Update* 1/25/19, went back in for thier happy hour this evening. The service tonight was actually exceptional. The staff was friendly and attentive ensuring we had everything we needed.

    I have been a loyal customer of SushiKo since it opened. After new ownership took over I noticed an immediate difference in many of their classic dishes. And though l love many of the new dishes I can’t ignore the changes in the management. The owner is generous with samples, but many of the capable servers and staff have gone. In their place are highly inattentive, rude, and nearly incompetent replacements. Waitresses rolling their eyes, waiting twenty minutes or more before finally having to pull someone aside to ask for water, ordered rolls being forgotten, the list goes on. I could understand if it was exceptionally busy to have that happen, but there were two tables in use and one other pair at the sushi bar. I’ve also been in and had to deal with a rude, stumbling drunk, waitress. I really wanted to keep liking my visits, this is the place I’ve recommended to friends and sushi aficionados for years. Sadly, those days have passed.

    We make Sushi Ko our once a month treat to ourselves. We sit at the sushi bar and always order the “Hot and Sexy” roll to start off. Then we leave it to Mike, the sushi chef, to pick an “adventure” item or two for us. He has never let us down or disappointed. And he’ll only let us try something special if it’s super fresh. We’ve come to find we love different squids, urchins and other critters previously unknown. If you love your sushi, sashimi and other similar tasty treats, we highly recommend you grab a high chair at the bar and let Mike take you on an adventure you won’t forget or regret.

    The food was really good. The service was not bad. They may have been a little short staffed because it took a while to get boxes for left over food and for the check. But overall it was really good and the food tasted great.
