Mizumi is a beautiful Japanese restaurant located in the Wynn hotel and casino. The interior is beautiful (except for the suspended acoustic ceiling tiles) and the service was excellent. I had a table next to the window with a beautiful view of a Japanese pond and waterfall.
The food was very good but didn’t make the top ten for Japanese food I’ve had. I thought the Miso soup tasted burnt. I was told it had a smoky flavor. Whatever. Where there’s smoke…
It might be better to come here in the Spring or Fall when the huge pivoting windows are open to the pond.

The view was great but the quality of food and service was horrible for a “high end” restaurant. I was so disappointed with their slow service and portions of food. It was too overpriced for what they serve at Mizumi. I wish I would’ve taken a photo of the chicken wings we ordered.. 2 tiny bone-in discolored chicken wings in skewer form.. No dipping sauce.. for $30… After seeing the appetizer I didn’t want to continue ordering anything else but decided to give them a chance by ordering a roll and pasta. Our server forgot about sushi roll.. I will never think about coming here again. Rather eat McDonald’s..

Excellent Japanese cuisine. Top notch service. Fresh sushi, Kobe beef just melts in your mouth. Decor abound with bright red accents throughout, Kabuki theatre. This place is high end.

We sat in the outdoor area, which has a $125 per person minimum, which was nice and only had 4 tables. Made for a romantic setting. Once it started to get cool out, they brought a patio heater over to our table to keep us warm and comfortable. The waitress was kind enough to take our photos by the waterfall to get some great shots. We ordered the sushi platter for two and the 5 course meal. This was plenty for us. Each server that came out with a dish described it to us and was knowledgeable. The food did not disappoint. Everything tasted wonderful and was prepared perfectly. Would definitely come back and try the hibachi. I would highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed this place very much. Highly recommend the Omakase…chefs selection. You will not be disappointed. Having tried that at several sushi restaurants I can tell you this one is as good as it gets and includes many bites that are not your typical sushi. The omakase also includes Kobe beef and several unique tastings that will not find elsewhere. Make sure you go there with a big appetite and savor every bite
